Frankie D. Harlow Brown, 56, was born March 18, 1961 in Dayton, Ohio and passed away on June 28, 2017 in Fernandina Beach, Florida with family and friends by her side. Frankie enriched the lives of everyone she knew. Frankie was an absolute blessing and we thank you for sharing your life with us. Frankie warmed the hearts of all whom she came in contact and will be remembered by all as one of the most compassionate, loving, and selfless souls that were ever to have lived. She was an avid animal lover and volunteered much of her time to ASPCA with animal rescues and adoption efforts. She was a talented baker, a barefoot rocker, and a devout Christian. No matter how bleak the circumstances, she always managed to place the needs of others, even those she didn’t know, before her own. She loved life, her family, friends, and pets and was a tenacious fighter through the end when the good Lord called her home. Our angel will be sorely missed.

Frankie is survived by her husband, Joseph Brown, daughter, Shannon (Joseph) Davis Kaufman, granddaughter Cadence A. Kaufman, father, Frank (Henrietta) Harlow Sr., brothers, Frank (Holly) Harlow Jr., Rodney Harlow, and Shane (Jennifer) Harlow, and a nephew and nieces. Frankie is predeceased in death by her mother, Ruth Anne Yount, and her unborn child.

Services for Frankie will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 South Dixie Drive, Vandalia, Ohio 45377. Visitation is from 9:30 a.m. -11:00 a.m. with the funeral to follow at 11:00 am. She will be laid to rest at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, 8135 North Dixie Drive Dayton, Ohio 45414.
