Freda Elaine Jeffers

JEFFERS, Freda Elaine (Brenner), age 80 of Vandalia, passed away Monday, February 3, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton following a brief illness. She was born April 14, 1933 in Dayton, OH and was a 1951 graduate of Wayne High School. Freda worked several years for Leland Electronics and finished her career as a retired employee of the Gayston Corporation. Preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Brenner, mother, Elsie E. Reitz, step-father, Harry A. Reitz; 2 brothers, Dick & Paul Brenner and 1 sister, Opal Hammons, Freda is survived by daughter, Kathy (Mark) Boroff, daughter, Patty Cole, and son, John Jeffers; 1 grandson, Scott Daniel Cole; brothers, Lloyd Brenner Jr, Kenneth Brenner (Sharon) and Ronald Brenner (Kathleen) and sister, Johnanne McCoy; special friend, Velma Boroff along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, February 6, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Pastor Joe Cookston officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5-8 pm.
