Frederick E. England, Sr.
Age 83, of Tipp City, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2019, at Enclave Assisted Living in Springboro, Ohio. Fred was born November 27, 1936 in Dayton to the late David & Dorothy England. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 46 years, Christine A. (Smart) England, in 2016; two brothers, David & Art; and by a sister, Delores.
Fred served in the U. S. Navy during the Korean War. He retired in 1987 as a Police Officer with the City of Dayton with 29 years of service and went on to establish his own company, England Home Improvement, specializing in home remodeling.
Fred is survived by three sons, Frederick E. "Gene" England, Jr., Derrick England & his wife, Trisha, and Bill England & his wife, Lisa; grandchildren, Mandy (Jimmy), Stephanie (Rob), Madison, Alexa, Zoe, Lisa (Joe), Cynthia, Billy, Tiffany, Danielle & Darian; great grandchildren, Lily, Callie, Peyton, Cody, Alenia, Nevaeh, Taylor, Kaylee, Gage; and by one brother, Carl England, Sr. & his wife, Jean.
The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon on Wednesday (12/18) at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Funeral services will follow at 12 Noon with Pastor Carl England, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at West Charleston Cemetery.
