Frederick Dale Price
Passed away on January 1st, 2019 at the age of 84. Fred was born on February 8th, 1934.
He was a 1952 graduate of Butler High School, where he was very academically successful, and played many sports. After high school, Fred attended Bowling Green University, where he was a pitcher for the Baseball team. Fred was also a sergeant in the United States Army from 1956 to 1958.
Fred is proceeded in death by his father, John D. Price, his mother, Mabel M. Price (Grier), and his brothers, Denver and Leonard Price.
He is survived by his wife of 63 wonderful years, Diane Price. Fred was very loved by his children, Scott Price (Amanda), Lee Ann Spieles (Jeff) and Tim Price (Laura). His grandchildren, Brian Spieles (Diana), Michael Spieles (Chelsea), Alan Price (Nicole), Ron Price, Kevin Spieles, and Brittani Farley (Cody) and his great-grandchildren, Lucy and Oscar.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia, in charge of arrangements.
