Gary L. Snell

SNELL, Gary L., age 68 of Vandalia, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018 at his home. Gary was born July 30, 1949 in Dayton, Ohio, son of the late Charlie and Thelma Snell. Gary was an avid golfer, trivia buff, technology guru and an acquirer of all the newest gadgets. He was always quick of wit with a joke ready!

Preceded in death by his wife, Joan in 2014, Gary is survived by his two sons, Scott (Anne) and Wayne (Kathleen) Wisemandle; six grandchildren, Logan, Gibson, Aidan, Avery, Reese and Emerson; and his sister, Sandy Snell Shiveley.

The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am at the funeral home, Thursday, August 2 with interment to follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery, Vandalia.
