Geneva M. Roberts

Roberts, Geneva M., age 87 of Kettering passed away early Wednesday morning, July 22, 2014 at Liberty Nursing Center of Beavercreek after a lengthy illness. She retired from AT&T/Bell South, formally The Berry Company in 1988 where she worked for 35 years. At retirement she volunteered for The Republican Party of Montgomery County, served as a member of the Republican County Central Committee, and was a poll worker for more than 25 years. She was preceded in death by Jack, her husband of 43 years in 1987. She is survived and loved by her daughter and son-in-law, Saundra and Charles Huguenot of Fort Myers, Florida; 2 grandchildren and their spouse, Karen and Darrell Trego, Mark and Amy Huguenot,6 great-grandchildren, Morgan, Jack, Mark Jr., Brooklyn, Eli, and Grace; 2 brothers, Doug Curtis of Tipp City, Ohio and Jr. Curtis of Frankfort, Ky.; 1 sister, Olivia Hollen of Xenia, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, July 28 at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Interment to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 12:30 pm until time of service. If so desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Geneva's memory.
