George Earl Henderson Jr.

HENDERSON, George Earl Jr. (Jordy) age 69, of Vandalia, Ohio passed away Saturday, January 18, 2014. He was preceded in death by his father, George Earl Henderson Sr., and his mother, Mary Dorothy (Roberts) Henderson and is survived by an adopted son, Darrell Lee Henderson. George was a 1962 graduate of Bethel High School in Miami County. George graduated with a BA from George Peabody Teachers College in Nashville, Tenn., June 2, 1967. George received his Masters Degree in Education from Wright State University on August 31, 1971. George was a retired school teacher and taught in the schools of St. Christopher School in Vandalia, Bethel Schools of Miami County and Olive Branch School in Clark County. George was a member and officer of the St. Vincent Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Dayton. Memorial services are pending. He leaves many friends and cousins. George will be buried at Poplar Hill Cemetery in Vandalia, Ohio, along with the remains of his father and mother. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.mortonwhetstonefh.com.
