George Suto, Jr.

Age 89, of Dayton, passed away at his home on Thursday, April 20, 2017. George was born March 11, 1928 in Calvin, Virginia to the late George & Anna (Bodnar) Suto. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, George Joseph Suto.

He was a U. S. Army Veteran, retired from WPAFB with 37 years of service and he worked part-time at the Kettering College for many years.

George is survived by his loving wife of the past 69 years, Anna (Wolfinger) Suto; four daughters, Patricia Kuhbander (Charles), Carolyn Suto, Brenda Schmid (Mark) & Barbara Suto; grandchildren, Pam, Chris, Casey, Abigail & Jennifer; great grandchildren, Dustin, Shane, Amber, Charlie & Sam; and by great grandchildren, Kolton, Abel, Bryce & Valena.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, April 27, at Precious Blood Catholic Church where George had been a member for the past 64 years. Rev. Fr. Tim Knepper will be the celebrant. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton. The family will be receiving friends at the church from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass.

In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of George to the American Diabetes Association.
