Georgia Ann Lloyd (Chism)

Georgia Ann Lloyd (Chism), 80, of Medway, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Danbury Senior Living in Tipp City, Ohio. She was born to George & Vena Lay on August 29, 1944 in Hignite Hollow (Bell County), Kentucky. Georgia was a member of the Valley Street Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was a graduate of Northridge High School (Dayton) and had worked in daycare for Montgomery County Jobs & Family Services. Preceded in death by her parents; son, Stanley “Junior” Chism; her husband of 49 years, Stanley L. Chism; her husband, Mitchell Lloyd, Sr; and 9 brothers & 4 sisters. 

Survived by her brother, Donald M. Lay, Sr; special friends, Frank & Lou Rose; Pastor Hasty & wife Mary, along with their daughter, “Amanda Boo-Boo;” numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. 

Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2024 at the Valley Street Pentecostal Holiness Church, 2605 Valley Pike, Dayton, OH 45404, with Pastor Mitchell Hasty officiating. The burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday at 11:00 a.m., prior to the service, at the church.
