Ginger Ann (Moore) Ballard Moore, age 73 of Huber Heights, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at her residence. She was born August 1, 1937 in Cynthiana, Kentucky. Ginger was an active member of the Living Word Church in Vandalia and was a retired head cashier with Fulmer Supermarket with 25 years of service. Preceded in death by her first husband, Gene Ballard and her father, Ernest Moore, Ginger is survived by her husband, Mike Moore; her mother, Mary Call of Centerville, 2 sons, David Ballard of Dayton & Steven Ballard & wife, Annette of Huber Heights; 1 daughter, Cindy Cornelius & husband, Danny of Vandalia; 2 step-daughters, Dixie Crutchfield of Medway and Glory Peyton of Xenia; 1 sister, Donna Poland of Solon; 10 grandchildren, Holly, Tracy, Sean, Patrick, Carol, Stephanie, Ian, Christy, Daniel & Chloe; 9 great-grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, February 14 at the Living Word Church, 926 E. National Rd., Vandalia with Pastor Pat Murray officiating. Burial will follow at Byron Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Living Word Church on Sunday evening from 6-8 pm. Arrangements entrusted to Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia.
