UNROE, Goldie Clay 89, of Jasper, FL passed away February 1, 2008, at her home in Jasper. A native of West Virginia she was the daughter of the late Henry Nathan and Nora Clay. She had been an assembly line worker at Hobart Mfg. Co. and Tip Top Canning Co. and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, a brother, her husband, Lewis Wayne Unroe, a daughter, Doris Jane Kaley, and a step son, Russell Wayne Unroe. She is survived by two daughters, Goldie Nora Matthews of Normandy, TN and Donna Jane Richards of Jasper, FL; one step daughter, Ruth Buchanan of Grandville, OH; one sister, Dusta Mae Chapman of Chatham, IL; four grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren, nineteen step-great-grandchildren and ten great-great step-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Maple Hill Cemetery in Tipp City. There will be no visitation. Harry Reed Funeral Home in charge of arrangements in Jasper, FL and locally, Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home in Vandalia, OH.
