Grayson Samuel Humphries

Grayson Samuel Humphries, age 4 of Vandalia, OH, left the arms of his loving parents and entered the arms of our loving savior on August 17, 2024. He is survived by his parents, Kyle & Iva Humphries; brother, Cooper (Pooper) Humphries; Grandparents, Steve & Regina Nickels, Pam Deer; Uncle & Aunt, Kevin & Sara Humphries; cousins Alayna (Nay Nay) Humphries, Olivia Nickels, Ava Nickels, & Emma Nickels. Grayson was an inspiration to everyone he met, and he touched every life he encountered. He defied all odds and flourished despite them. He brought joy to us all. He was so loved by his Mom, Dad, brother, Papaw, Mamaw, Grandma, uncles, aunts, cousins, family, special friends, teachers, therapists, and doctors. The impact of his blessing will be lasting. His name meant a steward for the Lord, and he was every bit of that and more. His life showed us an example of God’s grace. His life touched so many hearts and drew them closer to the Lord. Grayson loved Monster Trucks, cars, tires, dressing up as a fireman, playing in dirt, sand, gravel, and water. He enjoyed playtime so much. He made life so much fun. Grayson was sweet, funny, & kind. He enjoyed playing & fighting with his brother Pooper. He was happiest watching Monster Trucks, eating pizza, and drinking chocolate milk. Grayson no longer needs his braces, walker, or hearing aid. He graduated from his therapies. He is now running on the streets of gold with Jesus. Grayson will be greatly missed.

Celebrating Grayson’s life will be a special day in our lives. We invite you to Northridge Freewill Baptist Church on Thursday, August 22 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm for a visitation time with family and encourage you to be with us at 1:00 pm for a service designed especially for Grayson. Following the service, interment will be held at Polk Grove Cemetery, Butler Twp. In lieu of flowers, please honor Grayson by considering a donation to Cincinnati Children’s Child Life Services, ATTN: CICU. Arrangements entrusted to Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia, OH.
