Gregory L Whitt

WHITT, Gregory L., age 56, of Vandalia, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2009 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born August 24, 1953 in Dayton, OH, son of the late Herman & Inez (Dickerson) Whitt. Gregory was a US Navy Veteran and was employed as a Quality Control Manager with Unibuilt Industries, where he worked for 34 years. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Deborah (Adkins); 3 children, Adina (Tye), Holli (Jeff) & Jason; 4 grandchildren, Kaylea Whitt, Austin Whisman, Evan & Jacie Dalton; 2 sisters, Vanessa Jenks (Kent) of Jamestown, and Rhonda Wilhelm (Len) of Mobile, AL; brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Billy & Beverly Adkins; sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Patty & Durand Ratliff; very special friends, Sherrie Baker and Jim Neff; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, September 14 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Mr. Tim Kegley officiating. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-5 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or to the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, 1111 Stewart Ave., Bethpage, NY 11714 in Gregorys memory.
