Gwen Boling

BOLING, Gwen G., age 93 formerly of Vandalia, passed away Friday March 2, 2007 at Shiloh Springs Care Center in Trotwood after a lengthy illness. She was born April 3, 1913 in Staryard, OH daughter of the late Henry & Emma Hodge. She was a longtime member of the Vandalia Church of Christ and was very active in the womens church groups. She was preceded in death by her husband James W Boling Sr; one son James J Boling Jr; 2 daughters Sandy Lee & Elaine Nichols; one brother Herman Hodge; 4 sisters Tessie Book, Rozie Huntermer, Marie Brandenburg, and Betty Shields. Gwen is survived by one daughter Connie & husband Tony Curry of Trotwood; 3 sons Ralph Boling of Port Clinton, Charles Boling of GA, Eddie Boling of FL; one sister Jestine Sagraves of Englewood; 35 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Tuesday March 6, 2007 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia with Mr. Bruce Gleim officiating. Burial followed at Poplar Hill Cemetery.
