Gwendolyn F. Eakes

EAKES, Gwendolyn F. (Geske), born September 15, 1937, went to be with her Lord October 7, 2015, after an extended illness. Gwen graduated from Fairview High School in 1956. She raised her two boys and worked at Rikes and the Vandalia School System. She was a member of Tipp City United Methodist Church. She also enjoyed art and crocheting. Gwen was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Marjorie Geske; and by two sons, Gordon and Tod. She is survived by her sister, Kathryn Hawke; nieces, Patricia Masarik & Christine Jaymes, great niece, Miranda; her good friend, Nancy Lou Holler and daughters. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, October 14, at the Arlington Cemetery. Pastor Bonita Ritchie officiating.
