Harold P Miller

MILLER, Harold P. age 86 of Indian Lake, formerly of Dayton, passed away Sunday October 18, 2009. He was born May 26, 1923 in Dayton, son of the late Henry and Margaret (Fink) Miller. Harold was a Master Plumber for over 40 years and was a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran. Besides his family, Harolds pride and joy was the North Riverdale Little League Ball Park that he helped develop. He was preceded in death by one brother and 4 sisters. Harold is survived by his wife of 58 years Gloria (Himes) Miller; 3 sons Gary & wife Kathey Miller, David & wife Diane Miller, and Jim Miller; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday October 24 at 11:00am at St John the Baptist Catholic Church in Tipp City with Fr. Mark Sherlock and Fr. John Krumm officiating. The family will receive friends at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia on Friday evening from 4 to 7pm and at the church on Saturday from 10:00am until time of the mass.
