Harold Royse

ROYSE, Harold L. Shorty , age 67 formerly of Vandalia and Tipp City, of St Petersburg, FL, passed away unexpectedly, Friday March 16, 2007 at his residence. He was born February 28, 1940 in DeMossville, KY son of the late Raymond E. Royse Sr. and Sarah M. (Covington) Royse. He was a 1958 graduate of Tipp City High School. Shorty was a former employee of Hobart Brothers and of Chemineer and had worked for the St Petersburg FL Water Dept. He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy (Epley) Royse. He is survived by his children Kimberly Royse and Doug & wife Carmen Royse all of FL, Debbie & husband Frank Washburn of Dayton; 3 grandchildren Valerie Royse, Casey Washburn and Krista Washburn; 6 brothers Raymond Royse Jr., Bob & wife Carol Royse, Tom & wife Janice Royse, Ralph & wife Janet Royse, Lloyd Royse, Paul & wife Kim Royse; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 22 at 10:30am at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with Mr. Bob Vincent officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5 to 8pm.
