Harry E. Worman Age 92, of Butler Twp., passed away May 5, 2015. He was born March 5, 1923 in Dayton to the late Harry & Julia (Welch) Worman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Christine Lallathin; two sisters, Muriel Staup & Rubie Finke; brother, John H. Worman; and nephew, Philip Worman. Harry was a charter member of St. Christopher Catholic Church in Vandalia; the former owner of Harry E. Worman Insurance Agency; and during WW II he served his country in the U. S. Navy as an Ensign. Harry is survived by his loving wife of the past 64 years, Virginia Agnes (Trick) Worman; six children, Patty Joseph (Tom), Julie Urban, Harry A. Worman, Mary Weisenborn (Scot), Theresa Smith (Matthew) & Suzy Geise (Chris); son-in-law, Jim Lallathin; 19 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and by his extended family & many good friends. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Francis Keferl & Rev. Fr. Robert Monnin at 11:00 a.m., Saturday (5/9) at St. Christopher Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Tipp City. The family will be receiving friends at the church from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Harry to the St. Christopher Catholic Church Helping Hand Fund, 435 E. National Road, Vandalia, Ohio 45377. Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia, is in charge of arrangements.
