Hazel Lynn Wilson

WILSON, Hazel Lynn, infant daughter of Ben and Rachael (Whisman) Wilson, gained her precious angel wings Friday, May 10, 2024.   Hazel was both sweet and sassy and had the prettiest blue eyes and softest brown hair.  She was the “big sister” to Kohen, with whom she shared a true “twin connection.”   Hazel was truly loved by her mom and dad for 3 wonderful weeks.

Hazel is survived by her parents, Ben & Rachael; her twin brother, Kohen; maternal grandparents, Michelle (Wayne) Dodge and Karl (Gee) Whisman; parental grandparents, Bob and Brenda Wilson; maternal great-grandparents, Sue Whisman and Darlene & Tom Phillips; uncles, Brandon and Phillip Whisman; aunts, Michelle Alexander and Monica Smith; and Hazel is loved by her extended family and many wonderful friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, May 17, 2024 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia.  Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening (5/16) from 5-7 pm.
