Handley, Helen M. age 82 of Butler Twp. Passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born February 14th, 1930 in Dayton. Daughter of the late Claude W. and Mary Buelah Brown. She was a retired Manager from Abbey Credit Union. She was a member of Vandalia United Methodist Church and a former member of Fort McKinley Methodist Church, Daughters of American Revolution of Dayton, Red Hatters Society, Vandalia Lioness Club, Eastern Star, Vandalia Sister Cities, Vandalia Historical Society and volunteered at the Schuster Center. Preceded in death by her husband Bernard F. Handley in 2010. Survived by 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Luanne Handley-Blair (John), Cheryl Lincoln (James), Marji Richwine (Dirk); one brother Bob Brown; four grandchildren Brittany Lincoln, Julie Lincoln, Amy Richwine, Andrew Richwine. Funeral service will be held 11 AM Friday January 18th at the Vandalia United Methodist Church, 200 S. Dixie Dr. with Rev. Thomas Weeks officiating. Burial at Polk Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the Morton and Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia on Thursday evening from 4 " 7 PM. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in Helens Memory.
