Henry Davidson

DAVIDSON, Henry age 86 of Beavercreek, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born October 7, 1927 in Perry County, KY, son of the late Henry & Francie (Gilbert) Davidson. Henry was a retired employee of Price Brothers and was a member of the Dayton Brethren in Christ Church. Preceded in death by his first wife, Glaudia Combs, second wife Nannie V. Dozier Davidson; children, Danny Ray Davidson, Lauzie Chester, William "Bill" Henry, and Claude "Buck" Lee; siblings, Ella Davidson, Sarah Davidson New, Daniel B. Davidson, Germina Davidson Grigsby, Dora Bell Davidson & Eliza Brewer, Henry is survived by his wife, Ruth (Spicer) Davidson; 6 children, Linda Lou Davidson, Tammy Sue Davidson, Gary Newport, Steven Newport, James Spicer & Paul Spicer; 12 grandchildren, Scott, Jason, Brian, Jennifer & Jerry Davidson, Nanny and Stephanie Newport, Jessica Spicer, Heather Hussong and Kaytlyn Spicer, Robert Newport and Jeff Vann; along with numerous great-grandchildren, other relatives and good friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, September 30 at the Trinity Christian Assembly, 1146 Grange Hall Rd., Beavercreek, with Rev. Henry Chafin officiating. Interment will follow at Valley View Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at Trinity Christian Assembly on Monday evening from 6-8 pm.
