Hester V Lowe

LOWE, Hester V., age 88 formerly of West Carrollton, passed away Friday, May 15, 2009 at the Vandalia Park Nursing Center. She was born April 14, 1921 in Dayton, OH, daughter of the late Ray A. Fleischman Sr. & Mary C. (Esterly) Fleischman. Hester was a very generous and giving person throughout her life. She worked for Leland Electric, Rikes Department Stores and Woodys Restaurant and was a longtime resident of West Carrollton. Preceded in death by her first husband, Caldwell Houchins, her second husband, Harold Lowe, 3 sisters, Margaret Mikola Isaacs, Christina Fletcher & Mildred Huber, 1 brother, George Fleischman and 2 nieces, Amy Middleton & Carol Forrest, Hester is survived by 1 brother, Ray A. Fleischman Jr. & wife, Dona of Vandalia; 6 nieces, Victoria M. Dack of CO, Gail M. Hanger of VA, Della Carr of IN, Donna Phillabaum of Germantown, Rebecca Fleischman of Vandalia & Julie Hannan of Beavercreek; and 2 nephews, John Fletcher of Springfield and Daniel Fleischman of Centerville. A Graveside Service for family and friends will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, May 20 at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
