Hilda E. Koehler

KOEHLER, Hilda E. age 98 formerly of Butler Twp., of Brookhaven Assisted Living, passed away Saturday January 19, 2013 at her residence. She was born July 9, 1914 in Cincinnati, daughter of the late Albert & Martha Geglein. Hilda was a member of Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church and was a retired cafeteria worker from the Vandalia Butler City Schools. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Koehler; 3 brothers Albert, Urban, and Robert; 2 sisters Marian and Rosemary. She is survived by one son Mark & wife Mary Ann Koehler of Middleburg Heights; one grandson Christopher Koehler; 2 sisters Martha and Paulette, and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday January 23 at 10:30am at Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church 4144 Cedar Ridge Rd. Dayton. Burial will follow at Polk Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia on Tuesday from 6-8pm.
