Hyun Sun Wanamaker

WANAMAKER, Ok Cha Hyun Sun age 50 of Vandalia, passed away unexpectedly Monday January 10, 2011 at her residence. She was born February 23, 1960 in Pusan, South Korea. Hyun Sun was a member of St Christopher Catholic Church, was a longtime employee of Christys Carryout and was a former employee of Emery Worldwide and most recently worked at WPAFB in Food Service. She was preceded in death by one sister Mia. Hyun Sun is survived by her husband of 26 years Bob Wanamaker of Vandalia; her mother Myung Suk of South Korea; 2 daughters Jennifer Wanamaker of Vandalia and Laura Wanamaker of Lexington, KY; one son Clay Wanamaker of Vandalia; one granddaughter Avarie Scott and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday January 14 at 11:00am at St Christopher Catholic Church with Fr. Francis Keferl officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia on Thursday evening from 5 to 8pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in Hyun Suns memory.
