Ida M. Melnick

MELNICK, Ida Mae, age 90 of Rockledge, FL, formerly of Dayton, passed away Friday, September 21, 2012. She was born November 2, 1921 in Corbin, KY, daughter of the late William & Lillian Carpenter. Preceded in death by her husband, Paul, Ida is survived by her children, Bruce Melnick (Kelly) of Dayton, and Pam Dellinger (Greg) of Rockledge, FL; 6 grandchildren, Kristine Atchley of Cincinnati, Melissa Chapman of Dayton, Rebekah Henry of Middletown, Nathan Nate Melnick of Quantico, VA, Stephen Dellinger of Rockledge, FL and Megan Harless of Killeen, TX, and her 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 am until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Disabled American Veterans Association in Idas memory.
