Jack Lee Hedleston

Age 86, of Miamisburg, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2016, at The Hospice of Dayton.

Jack was born October 28, 1929 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late James Kenneth & Eva Pauline (Totten) Hedleston.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Virginia Ann (O’Dell) Hedleston in 2002; two brothers, Merlyn & Roger Hedleston; and by one sister, Carol Jane Hedleston.

Jack was a member of the Vandalia United Methodist Church and a U. S. Navy Veteran. He retired from Delco Moraine with 30 years of service and then went on to work 40 hour weeks at Enterprise Rental Car Co. until he died. He also worked for many years for the Amateur Trap Shooters Association in Vandalia.

Jack is survived by three children, Tim Hedleston, Susan Landfried & Becky Richardson (& her husband, Doug); and by four grandchildren, Emily (& her husband, Josh), Amy, Madisyn and Nicholas. Private graveside services with military honors were held at Polk Grove Cemetery in Butler Twp.
