Jack Netzley

NETZLEY, Jack W., beloved husband, father of 6, grandfather of 16, and great grandfather of 9 was born on May 6, 1923, and passed away December 2, 2007 in Rhinebeck, NY. He grew up in Dayton, Ohio, and is survived by his wife, Bette, of Kripplebush, NY, (married 62 years), his six children (Jack, Jr. - Little Rock, AR; Linda - Loomis, CA; Craig - Corona, CA; Ron - Kripplebush, NY; Diana - Pittsboro, NC; and Scott - S. Elgin, IL), a brother Robert Netzley in Dayton, Ohio, a sister Evelyn Snell in Holland, grandchildren/great-grandchildren and nieces/nephews. For 32 years, Jack was a computer engineer, but his passion for his whole life was fishing. Jack proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He will be greatly missed. Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, Dec. 15 at 10 AM at the Morton and Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia, with graveside services for the family to follow.
