WILLIAMS, JACK D., age 68 of Butler Twp., passed away Saturday, December 30, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born April 7, 1938 in Dunmore, KY, son of the late Bennie & Ara Belle (DeArmond) Williams. He was employed as a toolmaker with Globe Motors with over 50 years of service. Jack is survived by his wife of 47 years, Janet E. (McDonald); son and daughter-in-law, Steve & Brenda Williams of Tipp City; 2 daughters, Kathleen Fisher of TX and Karen Williams of Butler Twp.; 3 grandchildren, Jacob Williams, Danielle Fisher and Derek Fisher; sister-in-law, Barbara McDonald; his beloved dog, Louie, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, January 3, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association in Jacks memory. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the ICU at Miami Valley Hospital and to the Samaritan North Oncology Team for their compassionate and dedicated care of Jack. Jack was a loving and devoted husband and wonderful father who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
