James K. Fox

Age 62, of West Milton, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 16, 2018, at Grandview Hospital. He was born January 4, 1956 in Washington D.C. to Gene Keith And Mary Maude (Paugh) Fox. In addition to his mother, James is survived by his pretty little wife of the past 42 years, Cynthia M. (Dumas) Fox; two children, James Andrew Fox & his wife, Stacy, Sharon Hess & her husband, Karl; brother, Tom Fox & his wife, Ginny; two sisters, Camilla (Fox) Ferguson & her husband, Michael, and Lois (Fox) Schneider, & her husband, Craig; and by five grandchildren, Isaac, Esther, Orrin, Auburn, & Scarlett Hess.

James graduated from Wayne High School in 1974. James graduated Texas A&M with an associate of business and a Bachelor’s of Marketing degrees in December, 1989. He and Cynthia moved their family north in the summer or 1990. He worked for several companies before coming to work at Dayton Public Schools, Fairview Elementary School. James was a strong believer in Christ. He was an active member of his church, Living Word Church. James & Cynthia are life group leaders (Friday Lights) , Alpha Team Leaders, as well as serving in other ministries.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00p.m., Tuesday, November 20, at Living Word Church, 926 E. National Road, Vandalia, Ohio 45337. The family will be receiving friends from 4:30 p.m. until the time of service at the church Tuesday. Interment will be at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton, at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday. If friends desire, contributions may be made to “Acts 29 Missions” in care of Living Word Church.
