James Huston

HUSTON, James A. age 84 formerly of Vandalia, of Venice, FL, passed away Friday March 23, 2007 in Venice following an illness. He was born December 16, 1922 in Bucyrus, OH, son of the late Vincent & Lucille Huston. James was a retired employee of Baum Folder and was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by 1 daughter Katherine Clemens and 1 sister Lucille LaForsch. James is survived by his wife of 58 years Claudine Huston; 1 daughter Carolyn & husband John Gray of Vandalia; 1 son James & wife Becky Huston of Lexington, KY; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A memorial service for family and friends will be held Saturday April 21 at 3:00pm at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with Fr. Robert Monnin officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00pm until time of the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in James memory.
