James F. Sage

SAGE, James F., age 89 of Tipp City, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the SpringMeade Health Care Center. James was born September 23, 1923 in Painesville, OH, son of the late Orson J. & Ruth B. (Fowler) Sage. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, a member of the Troy Masonic Lodge F&AM, Scottish Rite and a member of the Tipp City United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Ruth, James is survived by his daughter, Patricia Ann Cost (William E.) of Tipp City; 2 grandsons, Keith Edward Cost (Belinda) of Kettering, and Kevin James Cost of Philadelphia, PA; 3 great-grandchildren, Jeffery Allen Cost (Tabetha) of Huber Heights, Justin Cost (Sarah) of Kettering and Jessica Cost of Kettering; and 2 great-grandsons, Wyatt and due to arrive in March, Mason, along with numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, Wednesday, February 20 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5-7 pm with Masonic Services to be held at 6:30 pm.
