THOMPSON, James B., Jamie age 44 of Vandalia, passed away suddenly Saturday, October 17, 2009. He was born April 3, 1965 in Dayton, OH, son of James E. & Marjorie N. Thompson. Jamie was Owner & Operator of Thompson Construction Company and a member of the Chrisitian Life Center. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie, survived by his wife, Lesa M. Thompson; his father, James E. Thompson; 1 son, Jesse Thompson; 1 daughter, Rachel Thompson; 1 sister, Kathy & husband, Chuck Lacy; 2 brothers, Rick & Kathy Snow and Scott & wife, Jane Bennett and numerous other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, October 21 at the Christian Life Center, 3489 Little York Rd., with Pastor Stan Tharpe officiating. Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday evening from 5-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to support an educational fund for Jamies children, Jesse & Rachel. Arrangements entrusted to Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia.
