James Jay Varner

VARNER, JAMES JAY, 44 of Brookville, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Good Samaritan Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born October 4, 1966 in Dayton, son of the late Herbert & Alma Varner. He was a former member of the Northmont Jaycees. He is preceded in death by 2 brothers Jerry & Russell Varner. James is survived by his fiancee, Michelle Ingles; 1 brother, Herbert & wife Melanie Varner; 2 sisters, Teddie & husband Jack Clark, Sherry & husband Bruce Gillespie; father-in-law, Ozro (Jake) Studebaker; sister-in-law, Crystal & husband Jason Guehring; brother-in-law Ozro (Bub) & wife Amanda Studebaker and numerous nieces, nephews & friends. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 6 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with Rev Thomas Weeks officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses in James memory.
