James P. Windle, Jr.

Age 73, of Vandalia, passed away Monday, June 6, 2016, at The Hospice of Dayton.

James was born November 30, 1942 in Washington Court House to the late James P. (Sr.) & Lena (Lyons) Windle. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Marty & Ruth.

James was a painter by trade for over 30 years and the former owner of J & J Painting which later became JWJ Painting.

He is survived by his loving wife of the past 53 years, Frances J. (Williams) Windle; son, Patrick James “Jimmy” Windle; daughter-in-law, Michele Windle; daughter, Christine Windle; three grandchildren, Brandi, grandson in law, Anthony Cabrera, Meaghan & Anna; great granddaughter, Bridgette; and by his sister, Mary Moyer.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia, is in charge of arrangements.
