James William "Billy" Workman

James “Billy” Workman, age 67 of Vandalia, Ohio, passed away on March 25th, 2025. He grew up in Dayton, Ohio and enjoyed music, concerts, fishing, and spending holidays with family. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Genevieve & James Workman Sr, stepfather Ernest Woods Jr, sister Gloria Gala, & nephew Norman Blount. He is survived by his children Billy Brown & Katrina Duran, sister Candy Lay, nieces Tonya (Jake) Cabay, Taylor & Myka Marlowe, Hayley Lay, and many other family & friends. Cremation services provided by Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home. Interment at Poplar Hill Cemetery in Vandalia, Ohio, is pending. The family would like to thank Momentous Health Skilled Nursing for their loving care of James over the course of his last year.
