Janiece L. Smith

Age 86, of Vandalia, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017. She was born July 28, 1930 in Winchester, Indiana to the late Oscar & Susie (Neff) Bilger. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Kenneth P. Smith, in 1995.

Janiece is survived by her daughter, Sandra Smith-Goff and her husband, Tom Goff; and by a step-granddaughter, Amanda McGlothen and her husband, Matt.

The family will be receiving friends from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m., Thursday (4/13) at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Michael Malcosky officiating. Interment will follow at Willow View Cemetery.
