Jason Dean McKenzie

McKENZIE, Jason Dean, was 40 years old when the Lord called him Home, Sunday, May 19, 2013. He was born September 18, 1972 in Dayton, Ohio. Jason graduated from Northridge High School. He is survived by his son, Devlin Dean McKenzie; his loving parents, Wendell & Geraldine; sister, Wendy Fahrenholz (Steve); brother, Joe McKenzie (Lisa); nephew, Alex, nieces, Stephanie, Madison & Jodie, Carrie (Boiteau) Sands, mother of Devlin, and several uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Jason was full of life and found humor in everything. He would light up the room when he entered, and left everyone feeling better just because he was there. His pride and joy was his son, and that was the greatest blessing to him. He taught him so much but most of all he showed him love and believed in him. Jason loved telling people how much he loved them, followed with a hug. The world seems a little lonelier now but Heaven seems so much brighter. We will look forward to the day when we will be together again. In the words of Jason, God Bless You! Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, May 24 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 noon until time of service.
