Jason Michael Smith Jr.

SMITH, Jason Michael Jr. age 3 of Tipp City passed away Friday September 18, 2009 at Childrens Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Jason attended the Riverside MRDD in Troy and the First Baptist Church of Tipp City. He was preceded in death by his uncle Harley Kreitzer. Jason is survived by his loving parents Gene & Ginny Fuson; maternal grandmother Robin Jackowski; aunt Rebecca Fuson, uncle Mark and wife Christina Silcox; maternal grandfather Richard Jackowski; paternal grandmother Debbie Smith; great-grandmother Elaine Harsanyi; 2 sisters Jaylynn and Jayda Smith and a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday Sept. 22 at 10:00am at the First Baptist Church of Tipp City 6533 S Tipp Cowlesville Rd. with Pastor Gary Boggs officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia on Monday evening from 5 to 8pm. The family wishes to thank the staff of Childrens Home Health Care who provided Jasons home care and the nursing staffs of the IMCU and Pallitive Care Unit at Dayton CMC, and to the teachers and therapists at the Riverside school and to everyone who assisted with Jasons care. Jason touched the lives of everyone he met.
