Jean Middleton

Age 89, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018. Jean was born June 18, 1928 in Wallins Creek, KY.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Willard Middleton in 2001; sister, Louise Fisher; brother-in-law, Millard Middleton; and nephew, Richard Middleton.

She is survived by her sister, Betty Middleton and brother, Clifford Bailey; nieces, Karen (Joe) Wilson, Mary (Les) Woodford, Jessica Avila, Taylor Middleton, Tamia Middleton and Emalee Middleton; nephews, Paul Middleton, Matthew Howell, Paul Jr. (Sarah) Middleton, Joshua (Chelsea) Middleton, Nolan Middleton, Jax Middleton and Harrison Middleton.

Jean was a member of the First Baptist Church of Vandalia and served at one time as the church librarian. Jean enjoyed watching old movies, reading, collecting antiques and traveling. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and she will be remembered by her family with tremendous love.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, March 30, at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Interment will follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
