Jeanne Chapman

Jeanne Chapman Age 85 of Englewood, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015, at The Hospice of Dayton. Jeanne was born November 6, 1929 in Dayton to the late Roy Hermes & Alice (Naylor) Sandlin. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Claude Chapman, who passed in 2002. Jeanne was a member of the Basore Road Grace Brethren Church for the past 42 years. She is survived by two daughters, Karen Niehaus (Rick) & Claudia Eadler; two grandchildren, Jennifer Allen & Christopher Eadler (Tabitha); four great grandchildren, John "JJ", Seth, Melinda & Mattison; and by two sisters, Sharon Eggemier (Wayne) & Judy Klette (Robert). Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday (3/25) at the Basore Road Grace Brethren Church, 5675 Basore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45415. The family will be receiving friends from 5-7 pm, TODAY, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Drive, Vandalia and from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., Wednesday at the church. Interment will be at Poplar Hill Cemetery, Vandalia. In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Jeanne to Basore Road Grace Brethren Church.
