Jeanne Whitmer

WHITMER, Jeanne A., age 76 of Butler Twp., passed away Saturday March 10, 2007 at her residence following an illness. She was born January 12, 1931 in Dayton, daughter of the late Charles & Hilda (Reister) Cotter. Jeanne was a member of St Christopher Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by one son Patrick, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Jeanne is survived by her husband of 58 years Harold; 3 sons & daughters-in-law Rex & Barbara Whitmer of CA, Rick & Debbie Whitmer of Vandalia, Jack & Monica Whitmer of CA; one daughter & son-in-law Robin & Scott Hawk of Tipp City; 6 grandchildren Brian, Rachel, Jesse, Brandon, Ileah, and Josh; 3 great-grandchildren Ethan, Conor, and Kayla and a host of other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday March 13 at 11:00am at St Christopher Catholic Church 401 E. National Rd. Vandalia with Fr. Francis Keferl officiating. Burial will follow at Polk Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia on Monday evening from 5 to 8pm.
