Jeffrey A. Wilson

Age 70, of Vandalia, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2024. Jeff was born September 1, 1954 in Troy, Ohio to the late John Forrest & Maryellen (Milhoan) Wilson. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Bill & John Wilson.

Jeff was the "J" in JP Signs since 1976, and retired from FedEx Express with 22 years of service. Jeff was an author and speaker having written and illustrated three books on Ohio History (The Ohio Legends Book Series). He was also a talented portrait painter, artist and all-around tinkerer. 

Jeff is survived by his loving wife of the past 50 years, Patti G. (Moles) Wilson; two daughters, Tina Lynn Bachus & her husband, Ian M. and Alice Dana Mackey & her husband, Drew; three grandchildren, Tony, Sam & Simon; two sisters, Jackie and Judy; and by his extended family & many good friends.

The family will be receiving friends from 2:00 – 4:00 pm, on Saturday, September 21, at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Drive, Vandalia. Inurnment will be at a later date at Poplar Hill Cemetery.
