Jennibel "Jenny" Miller

MILLER, Jennibel (Jenny), age 86 of Vandalia, passed away Sunday, October 20, at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born September 7, 1927 in Lucasville, daughter of the late Russell and Mary Jane (Daniel) Egbert. Jenny was homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid reader, loved crossword puzzles, cooking and baking, and live theater. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, John L. Miller, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Jenny was survived by 2 daughters, Cynthia Miller of NY, Lisa & husband, Chuck Eifert of Vandalia; sons, Mark & wife, Julie Miller of GA; & Rusty Miller and long-time partner Deb Newman of Troy; 2 sisters, Dorothy Egbert of Fairborn and Mary Louise Williamson of Fairborn; grandchildren, Connor & Mallory Trentman and Johnny & Jason Miller and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Thursday, October 24 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia with Rev. Thomas Weeks officiating. Burial at Polk Grove Cemetery, with a luncheon at the United Methodist Church in Vandalia immediately following. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5-8 pm. If so desired, contributions may be made to the Historical Society of Vandalia or the Montgomery County Library Fund in Jennys memory.
