Jesse Martin

Age 48, of Vandalia, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 11, 2025. Jesse was born June 11, 1976 in Columbus, Ohio to Howard Martin & Teresa Wagner.

Jesse was an avid Ohio State Football fan and he really enjoyed video games and Dungeons & Dragons. He enjoyed spending time with his family & friends, driving his Tesla and going on vacations. He was really cool.

Jesse is survived by his mother; his loving wife, Kathleen E. “Katie” Martin; one daughter, Alexis Martin; and by two siblings, Austin (Rachel) and River.

The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 – 2:00 pm, Monday, January 20, at the Vandalia United Methodist Church, 200 S. Dixie Drive, Vandalia. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm with Pastor Michael Malcosky officiating. Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Jesse to the donor’s favorite charity.
