Jimmy L. Wyrick, Sr. "The Bud Man" Age 71, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2014. Jimmy was born March 8, 1943 in Harlan County, Kentucky to the late Jim & Lydia (White) Wyrick. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Lee Wyrick. Jimmy is survived by his wife of the past 34 years, Peggy (Peacock) Wyrick; four children, Edward & wife Beverly Wyrick, Lydia Joyce & husband Jerry Evans, Jowana Jean Petroski & Rhonda Dunaway Roach; one brother, Charles & wife Bessie Wyrick; and by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jimmy retired from Heidelburg Distributing with 26 years of service where he earned nickname of "The Bud Man." He was also a member of Troy Fish & Game Club and AMVETS post # 24. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 22, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia, Ohio 45377. Pastor Mark Moore will officiate. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of service Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in memory of Jimmy to his favorite charity: The Montgomery County Animal Resource Center on 6790 Webster St., Dayton Ohio 45414.
