Joan "Renee" Farney

FARNEY, Joan "Renee", age 67 of Vandalia, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born October 6, 1947 in Marion, IN, daughter of the late Joseph & Ruby (Sperling) Aulberry. Renee was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church and retired after 36 years as a Flight Attendant with TWA. During her retirement she enjoyed her time as a bus driver with the Vandalia-Butler City School District. Renee is survived by her loving sister, Sharron Exline, brother, Michael Aulberry and her nephews, Trent and Sean Exline. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, January 22, 2015 at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 435 E. National Rd., Vandalia with Fr. Francis Keferl officiating. Interment will follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 10:00 am until time of service.
