Joann R. Haer

Joann R. Haer Age 85, of Tipp City, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015. She was born August 19, 1929 in Dayton to the late Fred & Rosella (Multhup) Buehler. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one son, Frank Haer; daughter-in-law, Janet Haer; and three siblings, Carol Blair, Jackie Moore & Jim Buehler. Joann is survived by her husband of the past 66 years, Harold L. Haer; four children, Fred Haer (Connie), Harold Jr. "Homer," Judy Purvis (Dan) and Diane Battson (Roger); two siblings, Mike Buehler and Judy Smith; nine grandchildren; 14 great grand children; and one great great grandchild on the way. Joann loved to play cards, watch sports, fish, and be with family. She was a very special lady who touched the heart of everyone she met. She was loved deeply and will be greatly missed. Graveside services will be held at 12 Noon, Thursday, July 9, at St. John Cemetery, Tipp City. Rev. Michael Malcosky will officiate. If friends desire, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
