Joanne (Guthrie) Henderson

Joanne Henderson

Age 89, of Butler Twp., passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022, at Friendship Village Health Care Center. Joanne was born January 28, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late John Paul & Marjorie (Wheeler) Guthrie.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Arthur “Art” Henderson; and by her brother, George Guthrie.

She was a long-time member of Vandalia United Methodist Church and is a member of the Lions Club of Vandalia.

Joanne is survived by her son, William A. Henderson & his wife, Victoria; and by her grandchild, Andrew “Sophia” Henderson.

The family will be receiving friends from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm on Monday, April 11, at Vandalia United Methodist Church, 200 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Funeral services will follow at 12:30 pm with Pastor Michael Malcosky officiating. Interment will be at Polk Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Joanne to the church or to Aullwood Audubon Center & Farm .
