Joanne H. Sipe

SIPE, Joanne H. age 80 formerly of Vandalia, passed away Thursday February 28, 2013 at her residence in Enon. She was born March 25, 1932 in Vandalia, daughter of the late Dorsey & Elizabeth (Blue) Harleman. Joanne was graduate of Vandalia Butler High School and was a lifelong resident of Vandalia. She was a former employee of Globe Motors. Preceded in death by her husband Jack Sipe, one son Jack Edward Sipe Jr. and a brother Robert Lee Harleman. Joanne is survived by one son Jeff Sipe of Huber Heights; one daughter Janet Burchfield of Enon; 3 grandchildren Keegan, Hannah, and Kearra; one great granddaughter Mikaela; 2 brothers Thomas Harleman of CA and Richard Harleman of TX; one sister Kathleen Schenck of Tipp City and numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Graveside services for family and friends will be held Monday March 4 at 1:30 pm at Polk Grove Cemetery with Chaplain John Eshelman. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to help defray costs.
