Joe Ann Profitt

PROFITT, Joe Ann, age 60 of Crossville, TN, formerly of Dayton, passed away January 11, 2008 in Crossville. She was born August 26, 1947 in Letcher County, KY, the daughter of Birtle & Della Morgan. She attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church and had worked as a boxmaker at a handle mill. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crafts and painting. Preceded in death by her parents, brother, Billy Morgan; and husband, Danny Profitt, Joe Ann is survived by her sister, Kathy Conner of Dayton; aunt, Betty Jo Carbaugh (Don); nephews, John Robert Conner, Bobby Joe Conner, David James Conner, Jerry Galloway (Elsie); niece, Christine Conner; 10 great-nieces & nephews; loving companion, Aaron Burgess and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, January 14, 2008 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Rev. James Render officiating. Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until time of service. Out of town arrangements by Crossville Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc.
